I need to add in description and effects for the wondrous items from Pathfinder Society Primer.
If you don't have the book, you can easily look up the descriptions from archives of nethys here: http://archivesofnethys.com/SourceDisplay.aspx?FixedSource=Pathfinder%20Society%20Primer
What I need you to do is the following:
-> Download the sheet in the following post.
-> Copy the item description into column G.
-> Simplify the descriptions. I normally make the following changes:
----> Change anything like "the wearer gets these bonuses" to "you get these bonuses"
----> You can remove lengthy descriptions that aren't about what the item actually does eg "This pungent, tar-black armor polish comes in a small circular tin" - that doesn't really matter, just the effects.
-> If the item has a number of uses per day, put the number in column N and the "rounds/day" or "minutes/day" etc in column O (this bit does the checkboxes on the Back sheet)
-> If the item gives bonuses to skills, put them in the appropriate columns. I think most of them give conditional modifiers, so that would be in columns Y-AF. Check the other Data Entry thread about conditional modifiers for more info.
-> If is anything complicated, put a note in the Notes column (A). Eg. if an item has an effect that scales with your level, I'll need to add in a formula for that.
If that's too confusing, you can just do the first two steps - once the items are in spreadsheet format, it's much easier for me to make the edits and fill in the other columns.
Here is the input sheet.
I've added the descriptions. I'm pretty terrible at removing "unnessesary stuff" though, so a lot of them are still pretty long winded.
If you don't beat me to it I'll add the uses per day and such.
awesome, thanks!
I've added the descriptions in for 8.172
Finished adding the conditional modifiers.
I did put some notes on things I was either not sure of or that I didn't know how to do. I think that's it for this file.
Thanks, that looks good. :)
