We'll be more than happy to promote this - but first we need to freeze the spec. It is bad enough doing it in the list (no offense to anyone, the discussion is good and keeps the spec "honest"); if we approach any standard organization at this stage it would freeze the process instead of the spec. I think we have a fair chance of getting a second last-call spec this month. It remains to be seen whether that will survive to release candidate status. Until such a time there's little point in considering approaching any organization body; it would probably be premature even then. We'll keep it in mind, though. Thanks, Oren Ben-Kiki |
