#103 0.8.3 cannot send email

while sending email with Thunderbird, a window poped-up
and show that Yahoo mail now needs authorization to
prevent spam mail, and a graphic show up with words and
I was asked to type the words show in the graphic into
the text field. I typed the correct characters but
Thunderbird then show an error message telling me it
cannot send the email. Could this be fixed?
