Automatic logging of TCP Client terminals on start up
Yet Another Terminal :: Serial Communication :: Engineer/Test/Debug

Tested logging using multiple serial inputs and each terminal writes to a unique file and all is good. However, when I try the same with multiple terminals individually connected to unique TCP/IP servers then only one file is created on start up of YAT. If I then go into 'Log' and 'All terminals on' then a file per terminal appears, but I cannot get this to work on start up of YAT.
There are two options:
Switch log on
at the bottom of the dialog./ln
,-ln
,--Log
,--LogOn
command line option. UseYAT /?
for command line help.Last edit: Maettu 2024-01-13
PS: Scripting FR#74 will even enable logging among multiple terminals.
