I may well not bother with the patch for the simple reason that the market for it is going to be miniscule. If anyone wants this functionality I can provide them with my solution in a simple email. I was thinking though that maybe you might want to consider extending the command environment variables. Currently Xymon has around 28 commands that are stored in environment variables in the hobbitclient.cfg file yet the commands used in the hobbitclient-*.sh scripts are all either reliant on the PATH being set up correctly or have the full path to the command hard coded. It just struck me that you could change these to environment variables stored in the hobbitclient.cfg file. Then when I or anyone else wants to modify the output in any way all we need to do is update to hobbitclient.cfg file and change the location of the command to the one we want to use.
