As stated in the Debian bug report, libwebkit2gtk depends on GTK3 and XTrackCAD still is on GTK2. Steps needed to make the migration are outlined in the GTK3 docs. I'm making good progress in the first four steps. Switching to cairo only will be the next major task.

Instead I added a build option to use the default browser for help display. That way you can either build with webkitgtk or instead drop that dependency and use the external browser.

there is no fast way to switch to webkit2gtk.
Instead I added a build option to use the default browser for help display. That way you can either build with webkitgtk or instead drop that dependency and use the external browser.
