This sort of situation is ideal for sectionType. It's quite useful for= preserving information from the original XML to guide the transformation. --Martin On Thu, 25 Aug 2005 17:05:18 -0500, Tamara Lopez wrote: >=A0Hi, >=A0 >=A0We are transforming the documents in dynaXML, and have altered the >=A0xslt to produce the different versions by selectively processing >=A0tags. >=A0 >=A0Where I am having difficulty is in directing the user to one or the >=A0other version from the search results screen, because within the >=A0hits, I can't use the structure of the original XML to guide the >=A0transformation logic. >=A0 >=A0I think your suggestion to use the sectionType attribute will work; >=A0its usage was a little unclear to me, but I can see now how it >=A0could apply to this scenario. >=A0 >=A0Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, >=A0Tamara >=A0 >=A0but the problem is in directing the user to the different versions >=A0of the document >=A0 >=A0so for example, we are using the >=A0On Aug 25, 2005, at 4:48 PM, Martin Haye wrote: >=A0 >=A0I'm not quite sure I understand your problem, so the following >=A0might not make sense... >=A0 >=A0Have you considered transforming them in dynaXML?
