Closing file descriptors and backed out the change for Linux.

Applied one of Edward Schwartz's patches so incremental tabling will properly work when XSB is called via C.

Changed use of tempnam with mksfile, since tempnam has a security hole.

Improved documentation slightly.

Modified psc_mod/2 to always return module psc. (I.e. removed tests for
conditions under which a warning was given. Handling of modules is more
complete now than when this predicate was written.)

Fixed another case of handling modules properly.

in curr_sym fixed a bug in predicate_property with properly handling tables.
in tables added max_ans as a tabling option.

Minor changes in tests (and output).
Added tests for interning (hash-consing) big_arity terms.

New implementation of index trees. Smaller, slightly faster, simpler.
