Under Ubuntu (currently this has not been identified as an issue on other favours of Linux) xProcess can hang when exiting the application. The shutting down dialog does not go away and you have to manually kill the process.

Further investigation has found that there is an issue with the Assistive Technologies being turned on. At the moment the only work-around solutions are to either kill the process each time you exit or turn off Assistive Technologies - System | Preferences | Assistive Technologies | Enable assistive technologies (NB: this requires you to log out and log back in before the change takes effect).
