Thanks for the detail.

This is an interesting issue. I think the pages are missing from the dump, even though they are at http://zh.wiktionary.org. I sent an email with more information to the datadumps group: http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/xmldatadumps-l/2013-December/000977.html . I'll post more here depending on their response.

In short, XOWA needs to implement the LanaguageZh.php logic to auto-translate titles. I still have to think about how I'll approach this, but it's not going to be an easy thing. I'm targeting a February release for it, but it may be later...

This is probably a problem in Esperanto (eo:) too. E.g. the main page uses a template "cxefpagxo kesto-2013", while the title of that template actually is "Ĉefpaĝo kesto-2013". --Schnark

Thanks for the head's up.

I checked Esperanto now, and the Main_Page renders normally. It uses Ĉefpaĝo kesto-2013, which does exists at eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Ĉefpaĝo_kesto-2013.

However, I checked LanguageEo.php and do see code to handle the scenario you described (cx -> Ĉ). It looks different than LanguageZh.php though

I'll keep this in mind while I do zh. Eo will probably be done shortly afterwards

I ended up including a rough version in v1.1.1. It handles all the pages cited above, but I still need to refine the code. I'm hoping it will be enough for the full thumbnail set for next week.
