#46 Pdf viewer

It would be nice if Xournal got all the functionallities needed for a pdf reader. This is for example the possibillity to see the border of the pages, the possibillity to search in the pdf and so on. Xournal is a very fast and great program, and I would like to use it everyday when I work with pdf's.

This is something I'll keep in mind - but first there's a need to change the way xournal deals with large pdf files, because currently it uses an insane amount of memory to store all the pages in bitmap format in memory; the first step will be a transition to using poppler instead of pdftoppm. Also, I don't think xournal will ever have as many features as the best PDF readers, because it certainly won't go beyond what the poppler API allows one to do (which is essentially what xpdf can do).
