Delete Button, wider scroll bars

I would like to have a delete button in the menu bar, as when i'm in tablet mode, i can't access the delete key.
Next thing is hitting the scrollbars by finger or stylus is pretty hard, the width of them should be customizable.
Isn't the "Cut" button good enough for most purposes? I do understand that sometimes you want to delete something while preserving the contents of the clipboard, but I'm not sure it's worth cluttering the toolbar for what I view as a fairly infrequent use case.
Scrollbar width: I am not aware that this can be customized in GTK applications, or at least in that case it should be a system-wide setting i.e. it should be possible to set the standard scrollbar width for all your windows at once?

For Linux, you're probably correct. But the scrollbar is also quite narrow in the MacPorts and Windows version of the program. I understand that these implementations of Xournal are outside of your control, but just as a point of information, the system-wide settings for Windows and Mac scrollbar widths don't seem to apply to the scrollbar in Xournal.
