#28 Menu Hiding

It would be nice to be able to hide the menu bar
while in rootless mode, mainly because the
gnome menu and other window manager menus
look ugly when the aqua menu is there. Eventually
it would be great if XDarwin worked like classic but
for X instead of system 9.

It doesn't look like this is being worked on much. But,
I'll second
the comment for a different reason. I like to use
magicpoint for
presentations and I'd like to be able to get rid of the ugly
menu bar
when showing slides. I now either (a) convert to pdf and use
acrobat or temporarily fire up X in full screen mode. Both
of these
options have their drawbacks, so I'd love to be able to hide
the menu.
