can't find package gnet - fink config problem

Have successfully installed gimp!! But am trying pan now, which needs gnet-shlib. So I need the package gnet, and can see it on some fink servers, but can't get fink configured to be able to see it using the list command.

I need a config file or other clueage to get this thing done.

BTW, am also trying finkcommander, which looks promising.

  step 1: post the problem on the fink site ;)
  step 2: check out the latest version of fink, try "fink selfupdate" or download it
  step 3: check your "/sw/etc/fink.conf", check "man fink.conf" and add to the entry "Trees:" all the avalaible trees
  step 4: run "fink index"
