update library won't work properly

On Mac OS 10.3.8
Xnap shows <file number> updating at the right bottom of the window from
the start until I quit it, not shows <file number> shared, as it used to.
Also I can't refresh the library on the way.
To refresh the library, I have to restart Xnap.
I could update library on Mac OS 10.2.
Hope I can get the solution.
