Well, Funny you should mention it. I'm using this weekend to figure out whether or not build a Limewire based Gnutella client, or an EMule/EDonkey2000 plugin next. I was actually checking this mail account by chance as I was stalling on trying to decide which to use. My heart is more into the Gnutella Plugin, as I prefer to focus on P2P technology vs Client Server based. So I think you made up my mind for me. I'll work on the Gnutella Limewire first. I could really use some help though because the next thing on my agenda was going to be to get better documentation on the INetworkPlugin Interface. I'm not very confident about some of the functionality like for example initially I had completed the Gnutella interface, and ran into issues with the isSearch... Something or other, and somebody mentioned what needed to be done however, If I had a list of exactly which methods do what I can tie everything together probably fairly quickly. So if somebody here could provide me that information I will try to have it ready this week. Thanks, Joker Tenk Yven Leist <le...@be...> wrote:On Saturday 11 January 2003 18:50, Marco Herrn wrote: > Hi there, > > I just downloaded xnap from CVS an tried to compile it with gnutella > plugin activated. > But then I get this errors: [...] > implemented in the non-abstract class > "xnap.plugin.gnutella.gui.table.ConnectionsTableModel". make: *** [all] > Error 1 > > Is the gnutella plugin currently broken? Unfortunately there are no hints available here, since it would definitely require a non-trivial amount of work to get it (back) into a reasonably usable state. Joker TenK recently announced some changes to this plugin, but then abandoned this plan in favor of integrating the limewire core instead. Joker: any news on that? (Or have you stopped this completely because of the pending changes to the plugin infrastructure?)
