#9 code clean up

I have made a big patch to clean up most of the code of xmpppy (recommendations, http://python.org/dev/peps/pep-0008/ and others things).

Hello elghinn.
Your patch is great. I'd gladly apply it but... the format you have used is not suitable for patch application
please use '-ur' commandline to diff, like this
diff -ur xmpppy.old/ xmpppy.cur/ >proposed.patch

So unfortunately I have just to drop it.
