hi. yesterday i downloaded the old 2.5.1 version of MedMM. it worked fine except that it wouldn't play any of the avi. Thinking it might be an OS problem, i downloaded the newer version (2.6.1). But now, I can't even get started. I can't open any of the old databases saved or create new ones in this new version. Can someone please help?
My laptop configurations are:
mac osx 10.5
powerbook g4

more info on what i did, maybe someone can tell me what i did wrong:
i started up, and then went to File/New Database
Then selected HSQL Database and typed in a file name and clicked "Create database"
A window pops up "Retrieving Movie List" for a second and then goes away, and then nothing.
Nothing is lit up on the toolbar to indicate that i could add a movie title.
I can't move from there.

i managed to solve my problem, just so someone might encounter the same problem, you have to create database within the pop up window where you name your file and choose the file location, and NOT the "New Database" window.
I have another question which i will start a new thread for.
