The possibility to define aliases is a very nice touch, especially for doing some quick searching.

Unfortunately, the defined aliases are lost after quitting xmm.

As I use them on userdefined ExtraInfo fields quite a lot, they should probably be stored.

Location: either in the DB. Or in a "extensible" global list with the possibility to save userdefined aliases in that list as well....

Thanks,

Matthias

I'm not really sure if this is a feature... ;-)
This was actually commented out from the MovieManagerConfig.java after rewriting the code.

    This is back in CVS.

    Hmm, why not?

Oh, was there a reason for that?

Anyhow, it seems to work pretty well now, so I'll close this.

    Thanks!

What I mean is that this functionality is quite pointless if it's not possible to save the values.
I wouldn't call saving the movie data to disk a feature. What use is a movie manager that can't save the data? Thats my point..hehe
