your tool is really good, but we need functions from
xpath (e.g. substring). when do you add these features?

The plan is to get most of the core XSLT functionality going
before the full range of XPath expressions - this latter
requiring the development of an expression parser and having
looked at the tests (that I am taking as being the minimal
requirement) I think this is going to be a big job.
