[xmlvm-users] Request for translation: Xokoban

Hi community,

if you are interested in becoming an official contributor including a
mention on our website, and you speak languages other than English and
German, continue reading:

as you know, one of our very own demo applications is Xokoban, a Sokoban
clone, that we used since very early on to test various features in XMLVM.

We've made significant improvements to the app as well as XMLVM since the
last time we pushed the cross-compiled app to the AppStore. One change is
that we have the app properly internationalized. However, we, the core team,
only speak English and German well, so we don't have other translations...
yet!

This is why we would like to ask you out there to contribute translations in
a language you are fluent in. There are not many strings in the app, so it
should be an easy task. You can fine the file with the English strings here:
http://xmlvm.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/xmlvm/trunk/xmlvm/demo/android/xokoban/res/values/strings.xml?revision=1992&view=markup

Just hit "download" at the top to download the file. Simply fill in the
words in the language you are contributing and send it back to me.

In addition we have the following strings in the Android market that also
need to be translated:

Description (4000 characters max)

Xokoban is an implementation of the classic Sokoban game containing 100
levels.

This game was originally developed for Android and then cross-compiled to
the iPhone using XMLVM.

Promo text (80 characters max)

This is a nice way for you to contribute, even if you haven't contributed

I would gladly take on Spanish if you wish, just give me few days, perhaps
until the weekend, as I'm a bit busy right now.

In the directions, what does actually mean "An apple can only be pushed in moving direction" ?

It means that you can only push the apply, not pull or drag along. In the
direction you go, the apple will go when you push it.
