hmm. That is weird. Line 823 of xmlvm2c.xsl is: <xsl:if test="vm:hasFinalize(.)"> This shows up several times in the stylesheet and Saxon (that is bundled with XMLVM) has no problems with that statement. Can you do a fresh checkout of XMLVM and try again? If it still doesn't work, can you distill a small program (plus the XMLVM command line options) that provokes this error?
