Hi, I have written a patch for the " escapes. You can find it somewhere on this list, or here: http://github.com/tisoft/xmlvm/commit/ce1e5b0880cdbabb54506bd9426570260e852ebf Maybe you can adopt it to escape \0 properly, too.
