actually, I have begun on the read-file API. Here is what you can do so far: String filePath = NSBundle.getMainBundle().pathForResource("AndroidManifest", "xml"); NSData manifestFile = NSData.dataWithContentsOfFile(filePath); Of course this is only feasible for smaller files.
