Hi!
I have also been thinking of contributing to JavaME to iPhone porting.
My idea is to create JavaME libraries for the phone and then use the 
XMLVM to convert the code.
This is probably not what Gergely was thinking of.
Also there is not subproject for what I am thinking of. Is is possible 
to start a new one?
