I just consulted with someone from our team who obviously knows more about GPL & Co than I do, and it seems like I might be wrong. It might indeed be a problem for you to use XMLVM you commercial product as you have to "link" your code against ours. I would recommend you to take a closer look at what XMLVM can offer you today and if this is indeed enough for your purposes, please let us know again and we can talk about future licensing options that might fit your needs better.
