No

I have been using Pocket TV Browser without problems. After I added TVG browser, Pocket TV no longer is able to log on to Schedules Direct - I get the following message: "Service description 'http://docs.tms.tribune.com/tech/tmsdatadirect/schedulesdirect/tvDataDelivery.wsdl' can't be loaded: 500 Can't connect to example.com:8080 (connect: Unknown error)"

In addition, I am not able to configure XMLTV for any additional computers for TVG - After I am asked for my user name, xmltv.exe will not allow me to input my password.

Any help would be appreciated.

can you execute "xmltv.exe tv_grab_na_dd --configure" from the directory that contains xmltv.exe with the "Command Prompt"?

If you can (and I bet you can), the problem is with PTVB. Worst case run the configure mode from the command line and it shouldn't need any user input at run time.

Yes, I'm able to run xmltv from the command line - I am able to get through the point of entering my user name, but then I cannot enter anything - it's like it's frozen, except that the cursor does continue to flash. Very weird - I was suspecting that SD has inserted something which will only enable xmltv.exe to execute through login through one application on one computer. Is that possible? I do have a support request in on their forum.

    Thanks for your help.

yea.. I responded there too. :)

Are you saying that it totally works from the command line, and you only have the problem within PTVB?

SD has nothing to do with this actually... you haven't touched the SD servers yet.

If you only have problems running through PTVB, I'm not sure what would cause this.. must be something weird with how it's being called. I think the best solution is to run configure mode by hand to generate the config file, and then let PTVB just do the grab.

No - I have the problem with both PTVB and TVG and when I execute via command prompt. When I use the command prompt, I am able to get through entering my user name, and then I am unable to enter my password (or anything else) - even though the cursor flashes, the only thing I am able to do is enter "enter" which then makes SD think that I have not entered a valid p/w, and I get the previously mentioned error message. This same thing happens whether I execute xmltv.exe from the command line, from my second computer running the TVG wizard, or from Pocket TV. I am able to execute xmltv.exe from the computer where I originally installed TVG, and that application is working perfectly on that computer. But when I copied the xmltv config file from the first computer's TVG to the second computer's TVG, it won't execute. Is that weird or what?

I have tried repeated reinstalls of both TVG and XMLTV, and reboots, all with no success.

I am attaching a screen capture of what happens when I use the command prompt to execute xmltv.exe. At the point where I'm asked to enter my p/w, I am unable to enter anything other than "enter" - in other words, the only key on my keyboard which is recognized is the "enter" key. If I hit any other key, nothing happens.
