Did anyone have any further thoughts on this? Luckily, I've not had to record off one of those yet ... To re-iterate, I do not believe this is a config. issue as both my home and work CentOS machines exhibit the same fault. I think it's an artefact of a buggy perl DateManip 5 (forced by CentOS's perl 5.8, DM6 only working with 5.10+) and presumptions about such by XMLTV and/or tv_grab_uk_rt.
