Just checked my MythTV listings and they are handled correctly. >> I can't believe the fixups file already has>2700 entries... > > Has the Radio Times shown any interest in incorporating your fixes > directly into their data? Sadly no - I've made several suggestions over the last couple of years, but to date none have been taken onboard. The stability of the service seems to have improved greatly over the last week/10 days however, so fingers crossed it has returned to its old self. It would be great to have some of the fixups handled upstream, but I clearly some are more subjective than others. Some of the fixups I make may not be welcomed by all users, but my primary motivation is having the most consistent data for PVR applications. I do not know how much additional processing the Radio Times perform on the data after it is received from their listings supplier. The Radio Times reviews are obviously inserted for specific programmes, but I don't know if anything else is done before it is made available on the XMLTV service. If anyone has any contacts at the Radio Times, I'd love to hear from you :) Cheers, Nick -- Nick Morrott MythTV Official wiki: http://mythtv.org/wiki/ MythTV users list archive: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." - Benjamin Franklin |
