I just updated to latest status in CVS and ran grab/fi/test.sh. The grabber yle.fi is broken, but everything else looks OK. I'll check yle.fi when I have time.

@tlindvall: if you think that is the incorrect action, then please add debugging output (see tv_grab_fi --help) from the latest code to show that it doesn't work for you.

I've been using telkku.com (yle.fi is only for yle channels) as most mythtv users in finland. It did stopped working a couple of weeks ago, so I suspect telkku.com has changed.
I've tried to download and build the xmltv package from the release tarball, nightly build and update script, but I always get version 0.5.59 (not like in your output version 0.5.65).
As can be seen above, tv_grab_fi returns only channel info but no program info from telkku.com (if I remember right earlier it used to give first channel and then programs for each channel).
I'm sorry, I couldn't figure out how to get the debug output.
Thanks for your answer

get_latest_version.sh only updates tv_grab_fi, not XMLTV. Your version list shows that you have the latest tv_grab_fi.
Just add --debug one or more times to the tv_grab_fi command line to add debugging information.
As I said before telkku.com works fine for me. Please make sure that you don't have any network problems, e.g. HTTP proxies or caches. Or maybe telkku.com has blocked your IP (although personally I doubt that telkku.com does this, because then my IP should have been blocked a long longlong time ago)

This was my fault. Latest version of the grabber works fine with telkku.com. I've not been patient enough to wait until data starts to output to the screen. (It takes really long time for the grabber to finish it's job).
There was probably some problem with earlier version of the grabber I was using. Now, when I ran mythfilldatabase from terminal window with the latest grabber, it worked ok.
Let's close this. But anyway thanks a lot for your help and thanks for updates also! Movie category detection fix is really good to have.

Hi,
It's working ok for me.
What have you tried? e.g. have you tried "--list-channels" or "--configure" ?

yle.fi source has been updated for the latest site changes. Please make sure that you test with the the latest code:

get_latest_version.sh only updates tv_grab_fi, not XMLTV. Your version list shows that you have the latest tv_grab_fi.
Just add
--debug
one or more times to the tv_grab_fi command line to add debugging information. As I said before telkku.com works fine for me. Example run with test.conf containing only
channel 1.telkku.com
FYI: I pushed an update that fixes the optional movie category detection for telkku.com.
