Guide not downloading from port.hu , I tried with the latest alpha version 0.5.63.0
example:
xmltv trying to download from:
http://www.port.hu/pls/tv/tv.channel?i_ch=001&i_date=20120618&i_xday=5&i_where=1: no programs found, skipping
http://www.port.hu/pls/tv/tv.channel?i_ch=002&i_date=20120618&i_xday=5&i_where=1: no programs found, skipping
http://www.port.hu/pls/tv/tv.channel?i_ch=003&i_date=20120618&i_xday=5&i_where=1: no programs found, skipping
I have a similar problem with 0.5.63: it downloads only one day no matter what is set in the command line, there is no error message.

Guys, this has beenreported earlier, and now it is fixed since 2012-07-17. Today I've downloaded the alpha and it's working now. We just had to wait until the alpha exe is compiled by someone. (It's been built on 2012.06.25, and now it is available on http://alpha-exe.xmltv.org ) ;)

I've just downloaded and tried it, there must be a problem, because this is what I get, it doesn't actually download a thing now:
C:\Users\Homeuser>D:\TV\xmltv\xmltv.exe tv_grab_huro
Timezone is +0200
using config filename ./.xmltv/tv_grab_huro.conf
getting list of channels: ##################################################
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-2"?>
<!DOCTYPE tv SYSTEM "xmltv.dtd">
getting channel details :

I use the same alpha copied over the latest final. I tried with 1day and 7 days settings about 5 times, and i got only one error, and it was port.hu timeout. So I can view EPG data to next Thursday without any problem in PVR2...
Tried again: new folder location, latest final build, downloaded the alpha, here is the output:
C:\xmltv-0.5.63-win32>C:\xmltv-0.5.63-win32\xmltv.exe tv_grab_huro
Timezone is +0200
using config filename ./.xmltv/tv_grab_huro.conf

Interesting thing is, that if I start the program anyway (grabbing, configuring) it will automatically exit after about 10-15 seconds, even if it is just waiting at the promt to tell it if I want to grab a particular channel or not.
I've just tried it with other grabbers as well, they also quit after 10 seconds... So it might not be a huro problem. Any idea what it can be?

I have no idea what can be the reason of your errors. Do you have a backup of the old version? If yes, maybe you should try the alpha with it. If not, you should download and confiure an older version, and after that you should try the alpha. And this is the all I can say to you.
Was fixed in XMLTV 0.5.64.0
