Summary: Application freezes when opening a deleted MRU file

Initial Comment:
When opening a file from the MRU list which has been
removed from the system, the application shows an
error. After dealing with the error-message, the
application shows a wait cursor and have to be
restarted before it can be used again.

Reset the wait cursor and status when errors occur
everywhere projects are opened.
