Using the Visual C++ project file is the only way I have ever built
CppDOM on Windows.  If it's working for you, then that is a good thing.

Even if the SCons build were supported on Windows, I am positive that it
doesn't know how to deal with the use of STLPort.  I doubt that the
SCons build supports the use of STLPort on any platform.
