Hi Roland, > > I am doing the debian port. Which version of debian are you using? > how do I find out? sorry. the debian system I'm using as a ready-made beowulf cluster. How do I get the debian diff then? (Sorry, I'm obviously a debian newbie) Why aren't the diffs in the official xmedcon distro anyway? > So try using the debian sources and dpkg-buildpackage and please give me > feedback. > not this week anymore... > The packages you probably miss (which should be told to you by > build-depends) > are: > libgtk1.2-dev or > libgtk2.0-dev > and > libgdk-pixbuf-1.0-dev > ah no! I have those. Indeed, otherwise I wouldn't see those include files I mentioned. (I also managed to compile AMIDE, which needs them as well). No, the problem is that my xmedcon.h refers to gtk/* include files, while I have gtk-1.2/* etc. I could put in links of course, but because this is a failsafe system with lots of fancy stuff, I don't really feel like doing that. So, If you tell me where those diffs are, I'll see what happens. Thanks for the help! Kris |
