It sounds like you didn't apply the patch for gprolog 1.2.16 that comes 
with XGP (he Allocate function of XGP is renamed to AllocateGP). There 
are a number of changes that must be made to 1.2.16 to get it to work 
with XGP; these are contained in the 'diffs-to-patch-16-for-xgp' file 
in xgp/doc. The build process for XGP is a little convoluted--it is 
described in some detail in xgp/doc/build_notes.txt.
