I am getting the same seg. fault probelms when I
compile XGKS under linux (RH 7.1). Has any progress
been made here?

Just checked on a dec machine and it seg. faults as well.
(It does build a lot easier than for linux). Seems to be
getting into trouble in:

'XcMap_enter' in /src/lib/c/x/xcolours.c
