I would like an option to have user-configurable commands. Other file managers like Thunar, qtfm, SpaceFM have custom actions or menu entries.

One particular reason I would like this feature is to specify custom commands for mounting and unmounting drives; however, it can be used for running any program or script.

you now have custom scripts, like in Nautilus. Does this feature answer to your request ?
