#325 Fails to open some video files with mpv
Hi there
I recently setup the new v2.1.10 But I'm now having the problem that some (aparently random) video files fail to open with mpv (the default setup video player).
I have tried with vlc & have the same problem.
I have down graded to 2.0.1 & don't have the problem.
If I use double commander the file opens with mpv.
I have then let the system update to v 2.1.6 & don't have the problem.
I am using Mx linux (KDE)

I tried with mpv and your xferc config but I can't reproduce the issue with Xfe 2.1.10.
Could it be related to the file name of your videos (spaces in name, accents, special characters,...)?
Is the issue reproducible when it occurs (always for the same video file)?
I re-install 2.1.10 (over 2.1.6 Which works) and run from the terminal I get the following errror...
[file] Cannot open file '/home/alex/Music/AI_Music/01-videos/Ain"t it Strange - Psychedelic Rock - Single.mp4': No such file or directory
Failed to open /home/alex/Music/AI_Music/01-videos/Ain"t it Strange - Psychedelic Rock - Single.mp4.
Exiting... (Errors when loading file)
The actual file name is ...
-rw-rw-r-- 1 alex alex 7.0M Aug 2 20:43 "Ain't it Strange - Psychedelic Rock - Single.mp4"
After messing around with it a bit more I think it may be related to the apostrophe in "Ain't"
I took a file that was working and added one in the name & it failed to open.
On version 2.1.6 it opens and this is the text in the terminal...
● Video --vid=1 (h264 1280x720 50 fps) [default]
● Audio --aid=1 (aac 2ch 44100 Hz 128 kbps) [default]
● Subs --sid=1 'srt' (subrip) [external]
