In relation to bug 183 where folders moves into a subfolder rather than replacing existing files I tried to move the folder into it's parent, replacing the current content which resulted in file loss.
Folder1<Folder2a<Folder2b
Folder2b contains the same files as Folder2a (but new versions with newer timestamps) and is named exactly the same.
I tried to move 2b from right pane into Folder1 in left pane, replacing the files in 2a with the ones in 2b.
This obviously doesn't work and I got an error message stating this.
Now to the bug.
Folder2b just dissapears! Neither it nor its content can be found anywhere.
I can't reproduce the bug. I tried with the following test:
mkdir -p folder1/folder2/folder2
cd folder1/folder2
touch file1
touch file2
touch file3
cp file folder2
cd folder2
touch file
then trying to move (with drag and drop from the right pane to the left pane) the folder1/folder2/folder2 directory to folder1. I got an error, as expected, but no file loss.
What Xfe version do you use?
Here's a screencast showing the bug.

OK, thanks for the screencast. I was able to reproduce the bug in Xfe 1.37 and to check that the bug was indeed fixed in Xfe 1.40.
So I close the bug.
