First off: thanks for building and maintaining XeTex!
Actual issue:
Images included via \includegraphics{} suddenly don't render anymore (the figure caption is still being rendered).

I also have this issue currently.
pdflatex still works but xetex does not.
This is my current version:

The problem is related with the graphics package.
XeTeX is not changed since January, 2019.
