Category: Normaliser Group: None Status: Open Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: John (vombatus) Assigned to: Allan Cunliffe (acunliffe) Summary: inconsistent rendering of text/html files Initial Comment: Noticed while doing QA on a website transfer... Files with htm and asp extensions are correctly identified as text/html. However, files with a htm extension show up in the 'open normalised' pane as raw html text, with the tags etc. There is no option to open the document in a browser. On the other hand, asp files render nicely in the normalised viewer pane. There is also the option to open the document in the default web browser. I didnt have a file with a html extension to see how that reacted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Justin Waddell (jwaddell) Date: 2009-10-30 16:45 Message: Fix was made in HTML plugin v2.4.6, testing branch ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Justin Waddell (jwaddell) Date: 2009-10-30 16:11 Message: Problem was caused by dodgy HTML files (this one did not have html or head tags). Fix was to always ensure that output contains html tag as the root element. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Justin Waddell (jwaddell) Date: 2009-01-14 16:51 Message: It doesn't appear to have anything to do with the HTML/HTM extension, so presumably is to do with the file contents. Can you send me an example so I can test it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=577089&aid=2506211&group_id=85722 |
