#400 eps picture overlays

Looking through a document containing eps figures, xdvi 22.84.9 adds a (crop) of previous looked-at figure to the actual one. After some turns, therefore, figures are overlayed and unreadable. The only way out of this situation (up to now) is to exit xdvi and call it again. Then the figure looked at recently as now clean. This bug was not seen for earlier versions.

I have succeeded in replicating the problem. It seems to stem from changes
in ghostscript. It may take a while to fix, thoiugh.
(What version of ghostscript are you using?)
