Personally I think XDoclet is a great tool and I am usually at the = bleeding edge as far as using its features go, so I am always the one waiting = for the latest bug fix or feature enhancement to make me happy. :) So I would happily sacrifice multi-lingual docs in favor of faster bug fixing and feature enhancements. There is an innate problem/feature when it comes to tools like XDoclet. = It is open-source, which means it is (for the most part) developed in = people's spare time for which they do not get any reimbursement. So if we force = new additions to the code to come with docs in multiple-languages then = people will either develop the additions they need and not share them, or not develop them at all. Secondly, who is going to produce these additional = docs in secondary languages? Most people speak one or two languages at best = (most only one), and there are enough users of XDoclet to make it believable = that we would need the docs in 5 or more languages to make everyone happy. As the old adage goes - "you get what you pay for". XDoclet is FREE, so either enjoy it and use it as it is, or stop complaining and help make = it better. There is nothing I hate more then to see people volunteer their = time and then get flamed for their work. If you want the docs in German or Spanish or whatever, then volunteer to help translate them - but then = again if you can translate the English, you don't need the other version do = you!! The reality is, if you want a product with multi-lingual support that = is up-to-date and synchronized with the English version, go BUY some = massively over-priced Rational product instead! -----Original Message----- From: xdo...@li...
