Hi all, today I tried to play with different node groups on my cluster. It is based on RHEL5.2 and xCAT-2.0.1-20080627 So what I'm wondering about is what is the best recipe to handle different node groups. First, I have a few node groups when adding a new node, like " all,compute,ipmi,84nodeperrack,42perswitch,..." and so on. Later, I can add a node to another group, e.g. "nodech idpx01 groups,=fedora" ... OK, so I have different groups. How can I see which node belongs to which group? Simple as it is, I didn't get it. On the other side there is a tab named nodegroup. How does it work? Is all this documented somewehere? I guess node groups are very usefull tool and I used them very often in the past with the other product named CSM :-) And I really like to use it again. But it doesn't seems to be that easy for me to understand Thanks Torsten |
