We would like to be albe to dump a frozen node from an xcatd command, right now if we need to dump a node that is frozen, we need to go to the HMC, and issue a restart and dump command via the GUI.
HMC CLI has the chsysstat -o dumprestart to dump and restart an lpar. xCAT should be able to call HMC CLI and NETC interface(for DFM) to achieve this.
I have added this request into xCAT wishlist, see https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=Wish_List_for_xCAT_2. Closing this feature request and start using the wishlist to track this request.
