This is an issue of micctrl command which is shipped by Intel. I'll contact Intel for fixing.

xCAT will not focus on mic support for a while, and this defect is not serious. Move it to 2.9.

Since we lost the dev env and will not put effort on Xeon Phi support in a short time. This bug has been added to feature request: https://sourceforge.net/p/xcat/feature-requests/178/ so that it will be fixed when we work on this feature request.
