Since Mame have the support of Xbrz by HQmame, maybe it's possible to add this scaler to MESS.
After checking some screenshots with the scalertest, the render are much better.
In MESSui (32 or 64), the only thing available are bilinear filtering, very poor.
Maybe in the future ->HQmess.
