Version 5.0 of the XBRLAPI is hot off the press. Let me know if you have any troubles with it. It involves a range of significant improvements but is not fully backward compatible. (There are a number of method signature changes and, significantly, the Xindice data store support has been dropped). Key improvements include: 1. XQuery is now the data query language instead of XPath 1.0 2. Relationship persistence now supports significant performance improvements in XLink analysis. 3. There are many more examples showing neat ways in which you can use direct data store queries to do data quality assessment and correction. Regards Geoff Shuetrim |
