I've got a PAL X-Box v1.1 with a cheapmod running X2
4977, with the latest CVS release of XBMP as my
dashboard. I deleted the previous version's uData file,
and the install is basically straight-out-the-box.
I have my (Win2k) PC's MP3 folder shared, and XBMP has
it linked up through Samba. When I highlight a
directory containing MP3s, such as d:\mp3\guitar
vader\from dusk\ and hit "title" on the remote to
enqueue the contents, all appears to work fine. I
usually then hit "display" and enjoy the gooming.
However, more often than not, the first file in a
playlist enqueued in this manner will skip after a
minute or so, and just suddenly end, with the next
track in the list then starting. The rest of the
playlist works fine.
My files are all labelled in the format "01 - Blah
blah.mp3" or "14 - Seeperbold.mp3" - does this have
anything to do with it?
Reproducing this isn't guaranteed, but it happens more
than 50% of the time with me.
