I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but I've had issues getting libqt3-X installed on Ed's. The problem seems to be related to new versions of libqt3 not being compatible. You can get around the problem by finding version 3.0.5 of libqt3 .debs. This older version works just fine, and you wont need to update any other packages like libc. BTW, 3.0.5 works just fine with mythfrontend. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: John Klimek [mailto:jm...@ps...] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 1:59 PM To: xbo...@li... Subject: [Xbox-linux-user] Question about libmysqlclient10 I'm trying to apt-get libqt3-mt-mysql. The problem is that it says two files that it depends on, are not on the server. They are: mysql-common and libmysqlclient10 Could I get them from another place? I've downloaded mysql-common from (packages.debian.org) and it seemed to install ok. I've also downloaded libmysqlclient10 from that same site, however it says I need a newer version of libc. If you can help me out I would GREATLY appriciate it. |
